This was new, usually they both were in the good light with the Librarian of all people and now here she was probably suspecting them of doing something silly like ripping a page or covering a book with ink and they had their little encounter on their own mind. But being James' and Sirius' friend really gave you a different reputation than you really had, Remus had learned that already, though his punishments were considerably lighter. Remus had to refrain from smiling or laughing at the Librarian's inability to finish her thought. Though Dell seemed to do it for her.
Taking her hand into his they quickly left the library. "That was close. Are you going to fix your shirt before we enter the hall? That might give it away." He wondered, pondering exactly how they had missed that. Good thing it had been caught.

"That was close. Are you going to fix your shirt before we enter the hall? That might give it away."
Delilah blushed brightly and gave him a somewhat sheepish grin. "Yeah, that would be hard to explain." she muttered, pulling out her wand with her free hand and flicking it. Instantly, the shirt was reversed so that the logo and writing was on the front. Chuckling lightly as they walked down the hallway, she lifted blue eyes to his and grinned brightly. "That was close." she said, her blush finally receding. "I can't believe she almost caught us!" Lucky they'd gotten up when they did; if they'd been caught on the table she'd die of embarassment.
As they approached the great hall, Delilah took a deep breath. "Think Sirius is going to say something?" she asked softly. "I mean, he sniffs these things out pretty easily."

That was probably the most interesting experience he'd ever had in the Library, hands down. Well the encounter with the Librarian also, usually she yelled her lungs out at James and Sirius for mutilating an old textbook or something. Remus took care of his books, though with that table and homework ending up on the floor he couldn't say always now. "Yea, that would have been hard to explain." He mused.
"Not right away, at least not for my sake. He only does that to everybody else." Remus figured, knowing Sirius and James that they might mentally think of reasons to what was on Remus' mind. Lily would ask why he looked so happy and satisfied, but so would James and Sirius, who would only tease later. No big deal, absolutely normal stuff.

"Not right away, at least not for my sake. He only does that to everybody else."
Delilah passed him a fond smile. "He's a softie." she said with a chuckle. "He just acts like a big jerk to hide it." Approaching the Great Hall, Delilah grinned and stole a kiss, before pushing the door opened to find the Hall was..... empty. She blanced. Closing the door quickly and spinning around to lean against it, Dell lifted wide blue eyes to Remus's. "We missed dinner!" she hissed. "Oh, we're so in for it!" Letting her head drop and hit the door behind her a couple of times, Delilah's eyes drifted closed.
At least they wouldn't have to explain themselves... yet. She sighed and pushed her blonde curly hair off of her forehead. "So now what?"

Remus just shrugged, not exactly agreeing with her but not disagreeing either. Sirius was just his own person and he flaunted that, which was good for him in a way. She kissed him quickly, because that obviously would have caused some commotion had they done that in the Great Hall. Then, they realized they should have checked the time at least. "Relax." He said standing in front of her, it must have been late then.
"Well if your really that hungry we can go to the kitchens later, or we just head back to our common rooms." For once Remus wasn't that hungry, usually one would be after such physical activity, but she was filling his hunger, or so it seemed. Well now he could tell the guys, hopefully only them would be present in the common room.

"Well if your really that hungry we can go to the kitchens later, or we just head back to our common rooms."
Delilah sighed lightly again, a light blush still evident on her cheeks. She could only imagine what some of the girls in her dorm would say. Pushing off the wall a bit, she stood close to him and looked up with a small smile, one that was usually always planted on her lips. Delilah was warm and caring towards everyone, but especially toward the ones she loved most. She knew he needed rest, though he might not get it, but at least in his Common Room he'd be more tempted to lie down after being heckled by James and Sirius. "Walk me back?" she questioned, suddenly realizing how tired she was herself. She yawned lightly and looked at him once agian, this time sleepiness evident in her bright blue eyes. She blinked blearily and her smile widened a bit.

It wasn't actually that late, still after dinner was that time for relaxation and ignoring your homework completely to have a small social time. She moved closer to him and that comfort zone you usually had with people just didn't exist with her, like she had some exclusive pass there. "Okay." he said nodding a little. "But then who's gonna walk me back to the Common Room?" He joked just because the mood let them.
They were both tired, he noticed her yawn and the sleepy way her eyes were. Remus let his hand slip into hers, a motion for them to get on their way before they were labeled as missing.

"Okay. But then who's gonna walk me back to the Common Room?"
Delilah raised her eyebrows slightly, a small smile on her lips. "Aw, I think you'll be just fine on your own, big tough Gryffindor." she said with a light laugh, and together, hand-in-hand, the two began walking toward the Grand Stairscase. The Ravenclaw Common Room wasn't too far away from the Gryffindor one, actually; Ravenclaw was on the sixth floor. Giving a small sigh, she rested her head agianst his shoulder as they walked. "You need to go to bed as early as possible." she murmured. "And get lots of rest before tomorrow night."

Remus just smiled, he'd been joking after all. Still he didn't think he was that big and tough, but he didn't mind if others did. For once he didn't mind the distance, more time to collect his scattered thoughts and spend more time with her. But he did raise an eyebrow at her, "Relax, i'll be fine. Besides more sleep or less doesn't affect the turnout." he explained. Even if he had slept all day by some miracle he'd still end up brutally weak afterwards and with the sickest feeling. It was just difficult to explain. "I think the fact that your there is enough to make me feel better." He said, assuringly.

Rolling her eyes a bit as they walked, Delilah was unable to keep a small grin off of her face. "Cause I'm magic, of course." she said with a light laugh. She knew that the days before, especially, were hard on him and she wished there was something more she could do. But she knew that there wasn't, so all she did was what she could; support him through everything. She whined a bit as they started traipsing up the first set of stairs. She was tired, but not complaining. He must be ten times as tired, so she kept her mouth shut.
