If you thought about the group, the Marauders, they were like parts of a human body. Remus the brain, James the arrogant part, Sirius....well we know what he is and Peter some useless part that you can live without. Again she brought up a good point, where would they be without him? But more importantly where would Remus be without them, they helped him and brought out better things in him, like being forced to think on one's feet and new experiences like getting drunk and jumping in the sack with whoever was there. "They'd still be trying to think."
Something told him that she wasn't expecting that, but that's okay, there were a lot of unexpected things happening lately. She frowned at his scars again, It was as if she was looking down over him after he had finished transforming and the scars on his upper body glisented with the remaining light. Those were worse, therefore hidden for the meantime. Her head touched his shoulder breilfy, like a sitting hug or something, and he smiled back. She just lit up his world, she really did. And it made him think, like what James had said in the Three Broomsticks. But before he could dwell in thoughts more, she spoke.
"What about James?" He asked, homework all but forgotten now, that could be dealt with later. Sure he was all depressed over his father's death, maybe that is what she was talking about.

"What about James?"
Lifting her head off of Remus' shoulder, she looked up at him with a slight question in her eyes. She figured by now he knew about his father's death, and maybe even about Lily. Truthfully Delilah had found out by accident; she'd grilled James to no end about the redheaded girl he fancied, but she hardly even got anything out of that. Simply a 'she's letting me love her.' What was that supposed to mean, anyway?
Giving another sigh, this time of thought and sympathy for James, however. Dropping her head once again on his shoulder, she forcibly didn't look at his scars. It made her want to cry every time she saw them, and kill whoever or whatever may have caused them. "He was so close to his dad." she murmured, absently tracing invisible patterns on the back of his hand with her free one. Of course those who knew thought she ought to fear him, but she didn't, not at all. Her fingers brushed lightly over his skin, scars and all, without the slightest hint of hesitation. "And he has to be strong for his mother and Liz." She gave a small sigh and shifted her head just a bit so that she could look into his eyes, they were much closer now and she could see every detail of the sometimes haunted blue orbs before her. "Sometimes I just wish you boys would stop trying to be the hero." she confessed softly. "I worry about you, all of you, way too much."

She looked at him with those eyes and he knew what she was talking about. James and his father's death, not something you easily handle like a lost game or a failed test. This was something that mattered and counted for everything. He remembered when James had told him in the Three Broomsticks that night, it was a shock to him, especially having met the man before his second year in Diagon Alley. Remus remembered how friendly he was, just a nice guy. But all he and his friends could do was just be there for James, even Lily who would love nothing but to yell at him.
"All we can do is just be there for him." He muttered, letting his eyes look down upon her face as it rested on his shoulder. It was different if you were an only child, but he couldn't imagine what James was going through. Having to help his mother and sister, it was alot to stomach and a lot of growing up to do quickly. They locked eyes again, "Maybe if you didn't need saving all the time." He said, meaning other people in general, he coudln't count the times he'd saved Ripley in the forest from detention or worse. With that his eyes looked at her blue ones again and before he could think about it, he just leaned down and his lips met her's as it all just felt natural.

"All we can do is just be there for him."
Delilah nodded and felt a sense of sadness envelope her for James in that moment. "We will be." she thought aloud, smiling fondly up at Remus. He knew exactly how she felt and the right words to say to comfort her. She knew, somehow, that James, and everyone else would get past their hindrances and move on, all with the support of each other.
"Maybe if you didn't need saving all the time."
Delilah chuckled lightly and her bright blue eyes shifted to lock with his, but there was something different about his gaze this time. His eyes seemed to be burning with a deep intensity that she'd only seen once before... Slowly, her smile faded a bit, leaving a look of subtle apprehension and wonder. "R-Remus..." she managed out, sounding almost breathless, before his lips descended onto hers. Suddenly, it was as if they were reliving the beginning of that fateful night. Delilah felt as though every part of her was on fire, and he was the only one who could put it out. One of her hands still holding his, she shifted a bit, returning the kiss, and lifted her free hand to touch his cheek gently, tenderly, all the while her eyes closed, serenely. If she had any doubts of her feelings for him, they were clean washed away now.

Remus barely heard his name breathed from her mouth as he closed the distance. It just felt right, almost perfect that it was supposed to happen and he was just meant to engage it. At that moment as he continued to kiss her, he just knew that this was plausible and more probable than any other consideration he had ever taken. Maybe he did have to thank James and Sirius for getting him drunk that night after all, it made his eye look another way, to a better path. Still people had gotten hurt in the process of this. She didn't protest, and his hand slipped from hers in a motion to pull her closer.
So maybe he did need to stop thinking, it helped but got him in tight space someimtes. What he felt for Dell didn't need thinking, it was just fact.

Had Dell been thinking with her rational mind, she probably would've been blushing like crazy. But now, all rational or sensible thoughts had completely flown out the window the minute his lips had touched hers. It was butterflies and fireworks, everything she'd never felt with Micheal. Maybe the feeling was stronger this time around because of their history, but Dell distinctly remembered feeling lighter than air when they'd kissed the first time.
Feeling his hand slip from hers, she moved her now free hand to his other cheek, holding her hands tenderly to his face, as if embracing all of him in that moment. She wanted nothing more than for Remus Lupin to feel loved and accepted, because he was. Not only be her but his friends as well.
After a few moments, the need for oxygen won out over the need to snog, and Delilah pulled back, just a bit, her breathing just a bit ragged. Her lips were probably puffy from their recent attention but her eyes and mind were on him, just a breath away from her. She could kiss him again quite quickly if she wanted to, but she had to speak first.
"You're doing a... rather good job of saving me." she said breathlessly, letting her eyes slip closed and her mouth turn up slightly at the corners in a loving smile. "A brilliant job, actually."

With this he felt good, just this new feeling like he was sitting on a cloud away from trouble and with somebody who cared. Perfect, a perfect world it made it seem as. He couldn't really remember much from that party, when they were drunk, it was just vague memories and blurs, whereas this would be a vivid memory forever. He wasn't even thinking anymore, which was a first, for he was always thinking of something, and it was great.
His hands had gone to her waist, where he could feel her slim figure under her t-shirt. It just proved his theoretical thoughts on what he felt for her. It seemed that when they had slept together it just put feelings that they had never even dreamed of having for one another before. Where this would lead? Remus had no clue. But according to Sirius the bookshelves and tables were said to be quite sturdy, which surprised him because he never figured Sirius to ever step foot in here.
Then she pulled away and good thing because Remus almost forgot about breathing, his breathing just now as ragged as hers. "Well you are a damsel in distress.." He commented, with a grin, leaning down to kiss her again, only more lust behind it. The first time had just been the welcoming, just to check what she would do.

"Well you are a damsel in distress.."
Catching up on her breath slightly, Delilah barely had time to laugh lightly before his mouth was on hers again, only this time is was more feverent and hungry. She returned it with just as much passion he had put into it, not daring to open her eyes for fears of it being a dream. A steady, yet wonderful fog was slowly clouding her mind. She was just about ready to give in to her desires when-
Giving a startled gasp, she pulled away quickly and stared at him quite horrified, her blue eyes flickering toward what little they could see of the rest of the library. She didn't want to stop, but she didn't want anyone to catch them, either. "Wait," she murmured, her hands having slipped from his face to his shoulders. Grabbing her wand quickly out of her pocket, with a slightly hazy mind and trenmbling hand, she flicked it towards the enterance. "Muffliato."[/i] she murmured, then flicked it again. "Colilportus."[/i] The two shelves that made them slighty visible to any passerby slid closed subtly, so they they were now complete surrounded and hidden from sound and sight.
Hastily she placed her wand back into her pocket and, still breathing a bit heavily, looked to him. They were still close, his breath warm on her face. "Wouldn't want to get interrupted." she murmured, one of her hands playing absentmindedly with the ends of his hair that was just barely in her reach from where her hands were resting in the crook of his neck. Giving a small smile, she didn't hesitate and leaned up to crush her lips against his once again. She didn't ever want to lose the feeling she had with him, it was too amazing.[/font]

There was no protest on either side of this, none from Dell and none from Remus or that nifty little voice in his head. It seemed to be silenced by this overpowering feeling and sensation he got from her. There was more passion and things couldn't be stopped now, it could only continue. But then she pulled back suddenly and he wondered if he had done anything wrong. Her eyes glanced around, the library was empty so what was she worrying about?
She cast spells that would give them privacy in the library of all places. Why hadn't he thought of that? Oh that's right, his mind was caught in this sexual haze that was just caused by her and her presence. He watched as the shelves moved giving them sort of a room, with the table, chairs and there belongings. It seemed that it was now time to check the sturdiness of the tables as Sirius said they were.
"How come I didn't think of that?" He said jokingly, as there was a short pause in which their breath mingled and there thoughts didn't work anymore, just fueled by lust and desire. She kissed him and he kissed back, as he pulled her toward him and closer so that their bodies touched only the thin matieral of their clothing blocking them now.

"How come I didn't think of that?"
Delilah didn't have the heart, or the patience, even, to respond.
Her eyes drifted close against the sensations he provoked deep within her, the forbidden feelings that she had locked away deep inside her being. So long she'd tried to keep them in check, but now, just his touch, his kisses, everything about him made all the feelings burst from her slim hold and ravish her entire being. All thoughts of everything else that exsisted were clean swept away. In the world, it was only Remus and Delilah and that was okay with her.
He pulled her closer then and her stomach did a flip-flop. One of her hands still on his shoulder, she let the other slide down to lay flat on his chest. She knew where this was going and she wasn't stopping. Breathless, she broke away just for a second. "Table..." she muttered, before allowing herself to be engulfed once again, that wonderful fog nearly completely clouding her mind now.

It seemed that once the shelves enclosed themselves around them for more privacy, the temperature had risen and he couldn't stand it, the thin layers of clothing blocking them from each other. Well it just needed to go. They kissed as he was thankful she wasn't wearing the many layers of the school uniform, only pants and a t-shirt. But then she pulled away and he barely caught her words and took a second to let it register before his mouth was on hers again.
Following her small request he lifted her a small bit letting her lay on the table. Something told him that any of their items nearby would be on the floor or somewhere by the time this was over. He kissed her again, letting his hands roam to remove that blasted thing called clothing that felt so restraining.

[[ haha. xD ]]
Delilah was glad that he'd understood her intent and allowed herself a small smile as she kissed him back; and found herself in the exact place she'd been intending for him to put her. As she felt her clothing slip away, rather quickly, actualy, she reciprocated, letting her hands fall from his shoulders to return the favor. He was way too overdressed for this event, she decided.
Letting her eyes drift closed against the sensations, Dell gave a small sigh and let the fog completely envelope her mind.
TIMELAPSE!! [cause we're not complete perverts like that. xD ]
She was tired, exhausted actually. Too tired to open her eyes yet. Dimly she registered that she wasn't in her comfy bed; at least that's not what it felt like. A cool surface was beneath her back and there was something slightly heavy, yet comfortable preventing her from moving. Delilah was puzzled. Warm breath rythmatically touched the crook of her neck, gentle and soothing, but Delilah still was puzzled. Slowly, she allowed her light blue eyes to drift open and blink blearily. Needless to say, she was a bit surprised to be greeted with the serene, peaceful face of Remus Lupin about two inches from her own, resting on her shoulder. At first she was baffled, but as sleepyness abandoned her and reality returned, she blushed a deep shade of scarlet, a small smile on her lips. Shifting her eyes back to him, she tilted her head a bit so she could reach, and gently placed a kiss on his forehead. Even though it was after something spectacular like this, he was sleeping and she was grateful. If this is the only thing to get him to sleep better we might have to do it more often. she thought wickedly, not letting complete rational thought return just yet. She wanted to hold onto this feeling, just for a bit longer.

Remus had his eyes closed, it wasn't that he was entirely exhausted, though he was, it was just the floating feeling he felt. Like he was sleeping on a cloud. If only he could sleep more often in general, then he wouldn't just pass out like this. But as he felt soft lips on his forehead he remembered where he was. In the Library, on a talbe, with a girl. Wait until he told the guys about this, well not everything, just the fact that he had proven the sturdiness of the Library tables, and not by setting tons of books on it.
Opening his eyes, he didn't even know what time it was, only that he just wanted to stay here because, well he just didn't want to move. He placed a kiss on her jaw and then her cheek to let her know that he was awake.

Delilah yawned a bit, blinking just a bit more to clear her vision. The makeshift room had seemed to hold up quite nicely, seeing how as far as she knew no one had discovered him. A lazy smile was tugging at her lips, one that turned into a full blown happy one when she felt him gently kiss her jaw and her cheek. So he was awake. Part of her wished he would've rested a bit more, but part of her loved that now they were both coherent it wasn't awkward. Tilting her head a bit to rest against his, she gave a small content sigh. One of her hands found his and linked their fingers together. It was as if time had completely melted away. She felt like she could stay this way forever.
With her free hand, she pushed back her golden hair, wondering where her scunchie had gotten to, seeing as the curls had been released from its grip during their tyrst. Letting her hand drop from her probably mussed hair, she rested it on his back lightly. Dell started to trace idle patterns across his skin, mimicking her earlier actions on the back of his hand. Dropping another light kiss on his head, she gave a light chuckle. "So I guess Ripley was right after all..." she mused in her usual soft voice.

Remus didn't even care that he was on a table with her, it might as well have been a bed, it all was the same at that point. Now he knew why Sirius was always out with some random girl in some random place. This wasn't all that bad, and the feelign afterward, well it was just great. Her fingers slipped through his, as it fit perfectly. That's what this was, perfect.
Remus didn't speak, just a grunt that meant 'yes'. He didn't feel like speaking, just being there, but now he had a question. Only he couldn't really bring himself to ask it, it was something never heard from him. Now that this happened and they knew what they wanted, would they seal it in a way. "So, what does this make us now?" He asked, giving her another kiss on her cheek and then her temple. He didn't want to be rejected for whatever reason, so this was the only way he figured to ask.
