Jayden calmly walked by herself down the long street that led to her desired destination. Dirt and dust lightly kicked up with her footsteps and left small prints of the tread underneath her shoe. It was obvious that Hogsmeade had been left dry for a few weeks and the sky showed no signs of letting the rain fall anytime soon. The few dirt streets would be left to create a few dust devils with each passing gust of wind. Luckily for Jayden, the wind hadn't picked up and blown the dust into her face.
Still she treked on. The Three Broomsticks was close and Jayden smiled and the thought of a butterbeer. That was definetly the reason that Jayden bothered to even come to Hogsmeade most of the time. It was a very lovely town yes, but was rather boring for someone who found no need for a sugar quill or brand new robes every month. Jayden always had the same scheduele everytime she visted, a butterbeer at The Three Broomsticks and a box of chocolate frogs from Honeydukes. Yes falling in a pattern can be rather dull, but it was how things were and it worked.
The bell gave a light chime when Jayden walked into the pub but had only caught the attention of a a few of the customers already occupying most of the tables. Jayden made her way to the counter and order her usual and found a vacant table. She felt relieved that it was placed next to the window and she watched the passerbys. Some carried brooms and others had vast amount of candies and chocolates in their arms, others had quills and dates.
Taking a sip of the honeyed liquid, Jayden sighed and laid her head on the table. Life had become so hectic and she was glad to take one break, even if it was only for a moment. Her chocolate eyes fluttered shut and she concentrated only on her breathing. That's probably why she had missed the sound of the footsteps quickly approaching the table that she had currently been occupying.
