Hair Description (include color, style, etc.):
Sirius has jet black hair which is usually shaggyand very unkept because he rarely ever brushes it. His hair is often in his face and seldom pushed to the side unless he is working on something or for a special occasion. One can tell Sirius's current mood by the way his hair is cut - if it is short than he is happy and he is having a good year, he grows it out when he is depressed or having a hard time. Currently Sirius's hair is at medium length well on its way to growing out.
Eye Description (color, other description):
Sirius has dark grey fathomless eyes that can penetrate anyone's conscious with enough effort. Sometimes the easiest way to tell what Sirius is thinking is through looking at his eyes. Although he tries to hide his emotions his eyes more often than not betray what he is thinking.
Physical Appearance (height, build, etc.):
Sirius is a lot taller than the average possibly because of good genetics or maybe just dumb luck, measuring at 6'1'' Sirius is one to be noticed. Sirius is very tall but he is also very lanky and thin, despite his weight he actually has some muscle, the result of playing Quidditch.
Predominant Feature(s) (anything really i. e. scars, etc.):
Sirius has very aristocratic old-fashioned features which make him handsome and add to his 'charming' image that allows him to be a popular womanizer. He has high cheeckbones and tanned skin, which accent his grey eyes and black hair.
Clothing (colors, style, etc.):
Sirius likes comfort and is seldom seen in the full Hogwarts uniform, usually he has his tie drapped around his neck and his shirt collar unbuttoned. He can be seen in torn jeans and faded t-shirts when he is not dressed in his Hogwarts robes. Other than that Sirius wears old sneakers or boots with his robes and street clothes. He is never too concerned about what he wears, especially when he is not wearing the Hogwarts uniform, so his clothes are inexpensive and without much taste. Sirius is a charmer, but his clothes are never to impressive because he doesn't have that much money.

Sexual Preference: Girls || Women
General Attitude:
{THE WOMANIZER
Sirius is a known womanizer, but despite this labeling girls do not hesitate to get close to him or even talk with him. His attractive looks and assertive personality are what make him a magnet for the opposite sex. Although his better qualities aren't revealed in his never-ending persuit for a new girl every week it still defines Sirius as something that he does with his time. It isn't one his most prized qualities, Sirius flaunts the ability for everything that it is worth. He is infamous amoung his friends for reaching out to even the most untouchables of the opposite sex and forcing them to fall head over heels for him. In this identity Sirius is free to pretend and to create the fast-talking smooth-mouthed romancing personality that every girl craves. Seducing women better allows Sirius to gain a spotlight entrance into any room as most of his male counterparts believe that it is something that is hard to do. As with most womanizers, Sirius possesses the hard-driven cocky confidence and persistance that most men would die to know the secret of. When he sees someone he wants, he will go to any distance to obtain her and call her his.
{THE PRANKster
Trouble finds Sirius more often than he is able to find it, or at least that's what he claims. Sirius has run with the same crowd of guys since his first year at Hogwarts, the marauders are known for their tricks and trademark tauntings of one - Severus Snape. More often than not Sirius is one of the masterminds behind every ploy and plot planned in the small group of four. Working side by side with James Potter they devise a plan of action and than carry it out for all it's worth. Sirius's strongest reputation is that of a troublemaker, especially amoung the teachers and prefects alike. He looks for trouble rather than allowing it to come to him contrary to popular belief, because looking for trouble is a much easier way to vent his anger and hide his feelings rather than confronting the truth. Pulling pranks allows him to retreat within himself as he runs away from his problems and creates more in a universe fully his own. Although one of Sirius's largest miscomings - liking to pull pranks on others that is - it also shows his greatest ingeniuity. Sirius's intellect is easily seen in the cleverly planned pranks that are common along the corridors and the common rooms of Hogwarts, sometimes even during classes. It isn't a rare sight to see Sirius and one or two of the other marauders in detention together every week. The marauders favorite target that usually ends up the test rat of the marauders latest idea for a prank is Severus Snape, someone who is hated and despised by the general population.
{THE Anti-PUREBLOOD
Sirius is arrogant and headstrong, but these qualities tend to falter and decrease with a change of setting. The arrogant persona is a shield, a thing that he can hide behind so that his true feelings seldom show through. Only the marauders know about the reality that Sirius had to face every summer that he returned home. In addition to this only one person truly knows the 'real' Sirius, the one that denies every aspect of the other's personality. The arrogance is a ploy, something to drive people away from the 'real' Sirius, the one that is still trying to confront the troubles that he faces with his family and others. Sirius's outgoing personality and eagerness to meet new people contributes to the image that he has built for himself, the one that promotes the the relations that he shares with everyone equally. Unlike most purebloods, Sirius denies his birthright, he doesn't consider himself "royalty" or even special when compared to anyone else. He believes that blood classifications are just another pathetic way for wizards and witches to obtain a false sense of power and class above others. Sirius speaks his mind freely about this topic which has led to his deep-seated of his parents and his brother Regulus who embrace this idea. Because of their differing opinions, Sirius has distanced himself from his family denying them as his relations. He rebells freely and has been doing so for years because trying to deal with them has just become too difficult.
{THE Loner
Considered one of the most open people at Hogwarts Sirius is truly a loner. Only the marauders know his secrets whereas only James knows his even deeper ones. He trusts very few people, but he gives out his loyalty to those who he believes deserves the honor. Although Sirius surrounds himself with people he is truly lonely at heart, never knowing a family that supported him or even wanted him around. His family is his greatest downfall and it is a topic that he will avoid to no end aside from the causual comment about how much of a prick Regulus is.
{THE Genius
Playing dumb was always easier for Sirius, especially because if you know to much people usually like to get under your skin. Seemingly intellectually challenged Sirius Black is truly a genius at heart. He has a passionate hate for school which has caused his intellect to be channeled into what he considers more mentually challenging tasks such as pranks. Choosing rather to be outside and hanging around his friends rather than inside cracking a book, Sirius does just enough to get by. This popular careless attitude that he harbors about his classes allow Sirius to keep his sanity when the grades really matter. When he wants to do well Sirius finds himself astoundingly capable of doing so. Few know of his truly photographic memory which comes in handy when navigating the numorous halls and corridors of Hogwarts. He credited himself, though only very briefly, as one of the driving forces next to Remus for the animigus idea.

Abilities:
Sirius is an animigus, he has the ability to turn into a big black shaggy dog. This ability is something that he and the other marauders worked hard to achieve throughtout their first years at Hogwarts to keep Remus company during his transformations. Although he has mastered this ability it is still something new to Sirius since they have only perfected it last year after many years of hard work and strain.

History:
Born in the last few months of winter to a strict no nonsence Pureblood family, Sirius Black was bound to have been mixed up at birth with some other baby from some other family. Or at least that was always his own theory, even after his own parents denied him this blissfully attractive wish. Set to live a life of inprisonment in the lies and the urgings of his parents, Sirius's opinions weren't so easily swayed towards their biased views. Even at an early age Sirius was showing signs of resistance as he refused to listen to his parents when they denied him such things as reading books by muggle-born authors, playing with muggle-born children, associating with 'muggle-lovers', and other such situations. Contrary to the attitude that Regulus took towards their parent's brainwashing Sirius refused to listen to them, whereas Regulus just lapped it all up like some sort of desperate starving child.
Through many early years of arguements, and much strife Sirius dealt with what he considered was his paren'ts load of crap for more than a decade before he would find release. In that decade they banned him from going outside the house, barred him up in his room, and feed him lies daily about their Pureblood background as their claim to true royalty. Finally the day that Sirius had been looking forward to finally came - he received his letter from Hogwarts - which came gave him a new lease on life. The letter guaranteed him a view of the real world and finally some actually sane people to associate with. Sirius saw the letter as his renewal, a chance to start fresh and meet some real people. His parents wanted to resist, but they felt it was the only way that he would truly be able to see things their way and finally they allowed him to go. The first day that he stepped foot into Hogwarts was not a day that his parents were proud of when Sirius betrayed the family deeper by being sorted in Gryffindor a known rival of Slytherin. Things would only get worse from there on as Sirius befriended James Potter, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, all Gryffindors and all wizards to be hated by principle in Sirius's family. They all soon became close and formed the group the marauders. Seldom were the four of them seen apart as they went everywhere together, even to this day they still hang around each other loyally.
The years following Hogwarts were dark ones for Sirius as he secretly struggled with his parents because of his mentality about his pureblood heritage. Naturally he didn't care about his blood and requirements and fought with his parents bitterly over it until the day came when they finally truly disowned him. Sirius was thrown from his house when he turned 16, and than soon after was taken in by James Potter and his family. Sirius lived with James for a while until he was able to get his own place and a job to go with it. Now in his seventh year at Hogwarts Sirius works full time during the summers to pay his rent and plans to go even further away from his family after he graduates. He hasn't talked with his parents in over a year and he doesn't plan on reconciling anytime soon.

The sunny expanse of the lawns stood behind him now, after walking a long undetermined span of time, it could have been classified as forever if there had ever been such a thing. A slow steady breeze was blowing through the leafless trees and the evening chill was beating through the shallow warmth of the sun that was still out. The day was grey, despite it's brightness it was still chilly. The lawns were nearly empty today as Augustus stood beneath a tree on the far side away from the castle. He had a perfect view of the lake below, because the tree that he was underneath stood on a sort of overlooking hill. It was a good day to be outside, he had to admit, so he was actually glad not to be in class for once. Even though he loved to do the work, he disliked sitting around in class, because necessarily he didn't learn something 'new' every single day. Most of the stuff from school he always felt as if he'd always known, but than other things he could distiniguish as 'new.'
Augustus barely noticed the chill or the drastic changes that the weather had been undergoing lately. He had been too engulfed in his work at school. Finally he had found some free time to relax. Yet he found that relaxing was almost as tormenting as doing work had been. Throwing himself into his school work meant not having to confront anything that had been happening around him lately. But now since he wasn't busy, his tired mind was allowed to wander to things that he prefered not to think about.
The moment that he had gotten outside he had headed for the most sheltered spot that he could find, trying to get away from everyone. He was always trying to get away, just to escape. It never worked to the proper extent though, someone always came looking for him in the end, so he maybe he had never been meant to get away in the first place. Whatever the reason, Augustus knew that it was rare for him to be alone unless he was doing school work and even than he would have to deal with the occasional F student attempting to peer over his shoulder in the library or the common room. It was rather annoying to have to put up with such pests, but he knew that it was only part of the learning ... and passing experiance of school.
I promised myself I wouldn't think about work.. Augustus reminded himself. But when he wasn't thinking about work he was usually thinking about something else. He wasn't entirely sure that he had come outside just for the fresh air, the lame excuse he had given his roommates when they wanted help with some report or another. Augustus never helped anyone. He barely spoke to people to begin with. He was rather possessive of his work, and he rarely felt the need to share anything like that with the general public. He had sold answers a few times, it was quick money, but it was also 'dirty' money as some people called it. Intelligence was something of a god-given gift for some, and for others it was just second nature so maybe that's why it was dirty money. It dirty because only a few skilled people could obtain it, it was like buying and dealing the best quality drugs available the effects and the results were always top-notch, dependable, and the same. It was ironic how similar the two trades were, aside from the fact that Augustus had dealt in answers rather than in drugs - that was one of the major differences.
He had originally wondered outside with tabacco on his mind. Augustus had survived one bad habit only to barrel head long into another one. First it had been drinking now it was cigarettes, he had no clue what came next but it couldn't be anything good. Gum would have been safe and probably side-effect-less, but that was just to simple for his complex personality it wasn't something that fit him. Than there was the overly annoying cracking sound that it made when it was being popped repeatedly. More than anything Augustus hated that sound. Aside from destroying his lungs he couldn't see what else there was left to do in this lifetime other than get through Hogwarts. He was hoping for some kind of future if he was able to do well in school, but the only kind of promise that was sure now was that he was still breathing. That was only a short-term thing though, it was something that could easily be pulled away from him at any moment. Life was so fragile; it was too fragile almost to the point of breaking if tapped. The whole thing would surely shatter into a million pieces, and than who would be left to clean up after it? No one.
The constant stress of life was weighing heavy on his shoulders again. He never seemed to be bothered by anything on the outside, but on the inside he was screaming. No one would know, no one would ever know. And that was because it was not something meant for people to hear. He refused to talk about it, and even if he had, who would listen? No one was interested in his disjointed and overly emotional speeches, no one bought into male sensitivity anymore, it was a thing of the past. So for now he would have his addictions and continue to hack off decades of his life span with an easy flick of the match or snap of a bottle cap. For now living and getting through life was all that mattered, later days would be saved for just that - later days.
Augustus's hands reached nervously into his pockets, his grey eyes glared blankly through black rimmed glasses at the lake in distance downhill. His thumbs poked over the edge of his pockets as he considered his possibilties for right now. Why was quitting so hard?
