Financial Status: Extremely well off
Father: Alexander Simon, a ruthless businessman with little time for his small family.
Mother: Melanie Simon, a vain supermodel whom cares little for her daughter's lack of attention,a nd instead focuses on her rapidly growing career.
Siblings: None
Guardians/Other Family (if your guardians are your parents, just write about other family here): None besides two sets of aunts and uncles. But her move away from her country pretty much limited the already small contact between them and her.
Appearance
Character Representation: Brittany Snow. Click!
Hair Description (include color, style, etc.): Delilah has long, golden hair that reaches about to her shoulderblades. A trait passed onto her by her lovely mother, Dell's hair is soft and full, and she is extremely proud to have inherited it. Usualy, she simply lets it tumble down in curls or waves, but sometimes she tosses it in a ponytail and on special occasions, straightens it.
Eye Description (color, other description): Eyes that are light blue, but often seen with a grey tint to them, belong to Delilah. Her eyes portray only some of the intelligence and kindness that lie hidden within the soul of this reserved, quiet girl. Her eyes seem to sparkle when she laughs, and have a certain sharpness to them; not unkind, but rather witty and almost noble in appearance.
Physical Appearance (height, build, etc.): Dell is rather short for her age standing at only five foot two. She is rather slim and slender, even though she tends to eat a lot when she gts upset. Her high metabolism keeps her countenence bright and kind, and her body small and almost dainty. Her skin is slighty paled, with a light sprinkle of brown freckles dotting her cheeks and the bridge of her nose.
Predominant Feature(s) (anything really I. e. scars, etc.): Delilah's smile is bright and comforting, and one of her most noted features. Another, though more subtle, is a scar she has on her upper right shoulder from her childhood when her brother pushed her down the stairs.
Clothing (colors, style, etc.): Dell is a pretty casual dresser. Usually, if not in her school uniform, she can be found in her beloved and ever-casual shorts and a tanktop, or even better, jeans and a comfy tee. Other times, she simply wears a pair of comfy sweats and her house-emblem shirt.
Mind Set
Sexual Preference: Straight
Attitude: Delilah is extremely warm and friendly once you get to know her. She loves her friends and family more than anything and leans on them a lot. Dell is very quiet and reserved, probably a trait brought on by her lack of siblings and friends as a child. But once you manage to get past her shyness, she is a very intelligent and happy individual. She is usually very optimistic and likes to not think of her problems as obstacles, but rather, as blessings. She believes that she was given these hinderances for a reason. She has a sharp wit and a sense of humor, but unless around her family and friends, appears shy and quiet. This is often percieved as being anti-social, which is hardly the case. Dell is very warm and kind, to all.

Abilities: Delilah is extremely gifted when it comes to casting spells. She also does well in the written-based classes, due to her extensive Quick-Notes quill and her friends helping her. She has a great memory, and loves to learn new things. Dell is also known widely for her kindness and caring, and her uncanny ability to give advice and keep even the smallest of secrets. Another thing that Delilah excels in is Herbology. She loves subtle things, like nature, and enjoys interacting with them just as much as she does reading about them.
Bad Habits: Delilah, honestly, is very reserved and somewhat shy. She'd do anything for anyone, but that can be her weakness; people easily take advantage of her. She also has difficulty standing up for herself, preferring to avoid confrontation and take the heat. She's also tried her hand at Quidditch and is absolutely horrid at it.
History (at least 2 paragraphs):
It has been said many times that everyone has their share of heartache in life, and Delilah Simon is no exception. At the age of ten, her father, whom worked as a CEO of a rather large company in New York City, USA, was offered a better job in London, England. Without giving his wife and daughter much room to protest or imput their thoughts, he uprooted his entire family and moved them. By the tender age of almost eleven, finding herself in a brand new country with ever-distant parents and lots of rainy weather, Dell had never felt so alone. She began attending a nearby school in Godric's Hollow, fully prepared to retreat into the shadows and try not to get too terribly atttached to this place. Of course, it was a shock when s letter arrived for her in the form of an invitation to Hogwarts. She'd never been so surprised! Still shy, yet kind and friendly, Delilah headed off to Hogwarts, not expecting to make many friends at all. But, it was quite the opposite. A lot of people seemed to be taken by the quiet American girl whose eyes were full of hope.
Years passed, and slowly but surely, Dell began to feel more and more at home in the place that she had once been so afraid to attend. While she mostly remained in good graces with everyone, even a select few Slytherins, she also managed to find a keep a few very close friends. Known as the heart of the group, she strives to be kind and caring and supportive of all of her friends, though sometimes finds it hard because of the lack of attention at home. Her mother, a rather self-absorbed model, has had affair after affair with no notice from her ever-busy father; though she was sure he had to have had a couple as well. Dell hardly ever gets letters from home, and only usually does when they contain something about "Sorry you can't come home for Christmas, Daddy and I have business trips." Which, of course, always turn out to be luxury cruises; they show her the pictures later. Delilah can't wait to move out on her own and leave behind a life of being shadowed by her glamorous and spectacular parents, and maybe just try to be special on her very own.

It had been a terribly long night for one Meredith Grey. She'd been called in at about 12:30 A.M. that morning for emergency surgery. Apparently, a small child had been hit by a car and suffered internal bleeding. His liver, kidneys and small intestines had been punctured and, in almost training-simulation, Meredith, along with the other interns in her group, had been roused from their slumber and called down to the hospital immediately.
Now Meredith was simply exhausted, her shifted started at 7:30 A.M. and ended usually around 8:30 or nine P.M., and since the clock had just struck six when she stepped out of surgery, she knew it would be pointless to go home. Derek would be arriving soon, anyway.
She sighed and washed her hands in the large sink, having tossed away her blood-covered gloves a few moments prior. After washing and drying her hands, she took off the surgical mask and threw that away as well. She studied her reflection for a long moment in the mirror, noting the dark circles under her eyes. It was easy to tell she was a bit sleep-deprived, but that was a sacrifice she was willing to make. They'd managed to save the little boy, and that was all that mattered to her.
She took down her hair, letting the auburn strands dangle a bit mussy around her face. Deciding that she'd better wake herself up for the day ahead, Meredith turned the sink back on, cold, cupped some water in her hands and splashed it in her face. Immediately it seemed as though she'd been asleep for days, though she knew the effects were temporary.
Guess that's another excuse to drink a zillion cups of coffee.
As she walked out into the hallway and down the stairs to the front of Seattle Grace, she scanned the crowds of people for someone to speak to while she drank her coffee. Finding no one, she sighed. The other interns were probably sleeping in one of the rooms, and Derek wouldn't get there for at least another hour.
Suddenly, she spotted a flash of red and it registered in her mind that Addison Montgomery was standing there. Sure they'd been enemies in the past, I mean they were in love with the same man, but... Meredith just wanted bygones to be bygones. Maybe they could be... I don't know.... Friends?
Heading over to the coffee machine, she poured herself a cappuccino, dumping in about 4 packs of sugar, and getting another, black, before heading over to Addison, who was reviewing schedules for the day.
Putting on her best smile, Meredith held the coffee to Addison.
"Good morning, Addison." she said warmly, with a hint of weariness in her voice. "I brought you some juju."
