Sirius stood there in the corridor looking rather bored, blending in with the cold grey cement walls looking as if he had not a care in the world. All the while downstairs on the third floor chaos was breaking lose and people were running around frantically screaming and clawing their way through crowds for fresh air. Yes, that's right, Sirius Black just blew up a trash can two flights down and in that little concotion of his he had also thrown in a few dung bombs for good measure. The rank smell promised not to be sucked out of the windowless corridor for the next twenty years or so, he would definitely be dead by than if time replayed it's proper course. Speaking of courses, the bell for class hadn't rung yet due to the obvious chaos. With his best 'I swear I'm innocent look' he had chambered the two flights of stairs, trying to stay hidden and conspicious within the chaos, on the third floor that had been easy but as the stairs descended and people begun to get off at different places it was proving hard. Since no one was following him he felt that he was safe enough to stop and after only climbing two flights of stairs Sirius felt safeguarded already by the vast concrete walls, the grey stone peering down at him from all angles.
He stood in a nook near the windowed corridor that led across to a few regularly used classrooms which were still full to halt the impending chaos that had been caused by the thrid floor disaster to float upstairs. That was to say the chaos hadn't but the smell definitely had, the hallway reeked in it's own bad way and Sirius couldn't help but chuckle softly, look what he had done this time. Although the mess was still there it had appeared that he had gotten away clean as could be without so much as a scratch or even a detention.
Two fingers had instinctively flown to loosen the knot on the gold and red striped tie when he realized that no one was around, there was not a soul in sight. He could never breath with the wretched thing on so it needed to be strung around his neck loosely or else he always ran the dumb threat of suffocating to death. This caused Sirius to wander briefly if anyone had ever suffocated to death because of a tie. I wouldn't doubt it. He thought warily to himself as his grey eyes stared vacantly down the smelly hall. A few charms and nothing here will ever smell again. Sirius slumped up against the nook that he found himself as his hands dug into his pockets, the smell reminded him of the pack of cigarettes in his pockets. Smoking in the bathroom was one thing, but smoking in the hallway? Surely someone would notice, but than there was that smell, nothing could be noticed with that horrible smell. The action seemed tempting but with all the prefects running around he decided to chance it later, they were all up in tangles because of the 'trash can incident' downstairs. As Sirius lazily stood in his corner waiting for the bell to ring, or waiting for someone to catch him or maybe single him out for questioning he heard the sound of approaching footsteps.
A pair of girls passed him clad in Hufflepuff robes, looking beautiful and entangled in conversation, but enough so that they both didn't chance a look in his direction - which he returned with a wink and a charming smile. He was able to hear clips of their conversation, something about nothing so daring having being attempted in twenty years. Sirius grinned he figured that they might have been talking about the trash can. Pulling himself out from his nook he found himself drawn to the window momentarily to appear as if he weren't ease dropping. Grey eyes stared down upon the lawns of Hogwarts and the many students who appeard speck like below, they had all retreated to the lawns because of the smell. It was only to be assumed that they would be fumigating the halls of Hogwarts for the next century if not later.

Taylor walked down the fifth floor hallway as she pulled her long blonde hair into a ponytail, her pale skin shinning in the light as she thought of her uneventful day she had been having nothing seemed of interest for her. She took out a small mirror out and looked at herself as she continued to go through the hall. She had noticed a boy standing by a window with Grey eyes with a grin across his face. Taylor stopped in her tracks as she started to smell something really bad. She turned to look at the guy by the window and knew after a few seconds who he was and what had happened. At once she played with her hair and looked at him as she slowly walked behind him. She thought about what to say to Sirius and what he had done as it came all in a flash. She tapped him on the shoulder and gave him her best proper English accent ever.
" Mr. Black what gives you the thought that you can set off dung bombs in the halls?" She gave him a small wink as she went red as she stood there with her hair all up. She looked out the window and saw all of the students standing there looking confused and a little mad. Taylor glanced at Sirius out of the conner of her eye as she gave a small giggle. Her day had turned around as she was now with the guy she like. He looks so cute today. She thought to herself as she started to go pink." Only you would have the guts to go and do something like this Sirius." She told him as she put her back on the wall as she let her eyes wander all over his body. She hoped he didn't see her with her mouth wide open as she stood by him almost drooling as she picture him with his shirt and other things.
Taylor tied to focus those thoughts out of her mind but they were so strong that they broke back into her mind along with Sirius running his fingers through her hair and softly touching her lips. She pictured them by the lake kissing and her eyes hazed over as she started to day dream. Her hand locked in his dark hair with his sweet smell running in her nose as she ran her hands all over her. The feelings she had that ran through her were strong and she came back and looked at him wanting to jump on top of him. Making another look at the students outside as she bit her bottom lip. " So how long you think the smell will stay?" She asked him with a soft warm voice .
Taylor waited for him to speak so she could let his voice wash over her skin and have more day dreams about him. She played with her hands as she tried to control them from doing anything. Taylor didn't want him to think that she was a freak and tell her to stay away from him for the rest of her life she really liked him. She shook her hair as she waited and let her fingers twirl it making some of it curly only for a few seconds as it went back to strait.

The tap on the shoulder had been slight and subtle enough to surprise Sirius, at that moment the only thing going through his mind besides the word 'shit was the fact that he had just been caught and it was all over from here. His heart was racing, it'd be detention for the next month or so possibly scrubbing out the area that he had just blown up the trash can in than maybe cleaning the corridors for about another month. He could only begin to imagine what Flich would want to do with him - it was defintiely an unpleasant experiance even just thinking about it. Than he heard her voice, the disguise wasn't enough because he could distinctly hear the youthful sound in it. Relief rose in his chest and immediately he grew calmer, he knew that tone from somewhere, even if he couldn't quite place it well he knew that this person was no threat to him. Grey eyes pivoted towards the girl whose voice was now speaking calmly in his ear, he smirked Talyor was standing right next to him. "That's an easy one, it builds character of course." Sirius smirked at her, his grey eyes glinting a bit mischieviously as if he had something else in mind too but he didn't dare speak about it outloud yet.
"It's not as easy as it looks, it takes charm." Sirius replied in agreement, a subtle doggish grin was settling across his features as he examined her out of the corner of his eye. He was still struck stupid as to why he hadn't approached her years earlier, from as far back as he could remember she had always been lovely, sticking out like a sore thumb. They were both in Gryffindor and being in the same house meant that they had gone through many classes together over the years yet he rarely ever spoke to her until now. It was strange to think that you could live so many years next to the same few people and barely talk much to them, or even exchange pleasantries but once or twice in a year. So maybe he was bragging to her now, but bragging usually got him the positive attention that he needed, besides the feeling that he needed to impress her was right now overwhelmingly building up in his gut. There was just something about the blonde girl that he couldn't resist so he couldn't help but silently curse himself for letting her alone for all those years prior to this one. Of course there had been a one night stand to make up for all that time, but it still wasn't enough as far as Sirius was concerned because he was always one to want more. Her giggling was music to his ears and reminded him vaguely of that night weeks prior, or had it been monthes? He couldn't keep track of anything anymore, no it was all just one jumbled mess.
"Few centuries I should think, unless they finally figure out how to properly perform that de-stinking charm several hundred times a day." There was a smirk now, Sirius would openly admit that he had just made a horrible mess of things two floors down. But yet he was obviously enjoying the ordeal and soaking up the chaotic mood that everyone had suddenly been thrust into, chaos was fun for him, it lightened the mood. Although it was hard for Sirius to realize anything because he was usually so involved in himself and his own thoughts he seemed to realize that Taylor looked as if she were leaning on his every word. He grinned lightly when as he observed this, being worshipped was just another thing that Sirius gladly welcomed into his life because that meant getting three times more attention than usual.

Taylor laughed as she wanted to put this very moment into one of her songs. She had the perfect title for it as well Like It Or Leave It she ran words through her head as she stood there and listened to Sirius and blushed more than usual. She started to hum the melody as she stood there and looked down at the students and put her chin in her hand. She was getting into the song she was making up as she came to a part that she was making up. What was that line in that one movie? When he looked at her like it would last forever Said it to her face that he'd do whatever it took To be her love but above all what he wanted most Credits roll. Curtains close. Then you whispered in my ear Together we're one in a million (Don't be afraid) Together we're one in a million (Don't be afraid). She was giggle uncontrollably now as she thought of all the situations with her and Sirius. She looked at him with a smile as she thought that she was still thinking in her head. "Together we're one in a million." She said as she brushed put on his arm as she looked at him wanted him to make the first move.
Taylor wanted to say something that would give him the hint that she really liked him. "Sirius are you seeing anyone new?" She asked as she hoped that the little love song wouldn't turn into a sad broken heart song as she had opened her big mouth. She looked at her shoes that were tied with sky blue laces that she had in bunny ears. She looked like a little school girl and she thought that she would hear him say that it was just a school girl crush and he was not worth it. She would have to smack him after what happened in the broom closest after the dinner they had ate a long time ago. She wanted him more than a boy toy she wanted to be with him and she would see if he wanted to take it slow one way or another. She knew that the silence was everything and that feelings could show if you let go. She needed him more than he could ever know and had to tell him something to drop a bigger hint. "I need a minute just to get to you" She said with her eyes a little watery as she was letting her true feelings come out to the guy she had crushed on for about four years." I feel like I might be getting through." She told him as she looked into his eyes and held her breath as she couldn't stop now that she was going as she stood there and slid down the wall and sat."Come over and say nothing." She told him with her eyes full with hope as she knew that she could be hurt so much from this and she would have to put it in her journal." Silence is everything." She said with a broken voice now over powering her.
She looked at her hands as she made herself shut up and keep quite she knew something was coming and was getting ready for the worst. She could hear music in her head as she had a feeling that something was pushing her to the ground and she could not get up as she looked at the nice sky through the window as she knew that her life had been messed up and now she wanted to share her love with only one person something she had never done before in her life. She had learned to keep everything to herself and put up a life up. She started to hear happy music in her head that made her sway a little as she sat there taking her mind off what she had told him. Why was he just standing there what could he have to word just right. Taylor started to feel sick as she waited there on a edge that she had never been on.

Sirius looked pleasantly surprised, a look of oblivion crossed his features as he watched the blonde girl next to him stand there beaming up at him. His grey eyes focused on the window a few moments as he grew lost in his own silent thought, than she spoke again - or at least she had asked him a question that mandated an answer.
"Sirius are you seeing anyone new?"
Standing in silence for a moment, Sirius tried to think very hard, he had no idea to be quite honestly put, during those nights when he was left with no memory he apparently did some quite ridiculous things - like proposing marriage to girls he hardly knew. Those were the nights when commitment came easy, just as easy as the liquor slide down his throat that was. And with more alcohol, things begun looking great from all angles and the prospect of dating someone was just as good as breathing fresh air for the first time in centuries. "Wish I knew, love." Sirius replied in a somber tone, his grey eyes seemed to glint a bit sadly at his own response, even he couldn't keep his memories straight these days. Vaguely in the back of his mind signal fire shot up and something started flashing, was this a good sign? He decided that sticking around could not be a bad idea, and stood there waiting to see where she was going with this. The look in her face seemed to suddenly dawn on Sirius when she spoke her next set of words, her watery eyes showed signs of -- well longing? This couldn't be good, Sirius was notorious for avoiding these sort of conflicts and now one was hanging around him, he didn't date, hell the first few times he had tried it it had ended in misery because he flirted with anything that could be tagged or titled 'female.' And besides those last relationships had been somewhere around their third year, those girls had told him that he spent more time hanging around detention and the marauders than he had with them, well that was just the way he was - and he couldn't change that. He found himself getting a little restless as he felt like he knew where the situation was going.
"Chirst." Sirius muttered, she was being dead serious as she invited him to sit down, he had turned away from the window now and was pacing a bit, looking rather desperate. This was the downside of no commitments, of no nothing, of being the way he was, of having little to no feelings for anyone including himself. Here was the downside to having grown up never knowing how to give a shit about people - or even knowing how to really love someone without hurting them. Sure she was attractive, but he barely knew her at all, and here she was about to profess some undying love to him, this was the way it all begun - even though every scenario was different it all ended the same. Sirius would soon slink off in his guilt to go and collect a bottle of firewhiskey and a pack of cigarettes before retreating somewhere where no one would find him for the night because he was unable to deal with the look that they gave him afterwards.
The least he could do was listen, that was his motto, even if in the end he'd admit to them his dire lack of feelings for anyone but himself and perhaps the marauders who were the three -- no maybe just two people who had earned his concern and his geniune 'love' as they called it. Sirius ran his fingers through his scraggly black hair, it was now in an assorted mess, falling in his grey eyes and standing up at different angles. There was such a hope behind her voice that it was almost painful to turn and say no, he didn't do these kind of things, he couldn't accept people because he had never really know that all encomposingly feeling of love, than there was the small fact in the matter that he didn't trust himself. In a very resigned manner, he took a seat beside her on the cold castle floor listening to her broken voice as his grey eyes stared off into oblivion. He was no comfort to anyone, he was better at being comforted than anything else because that meant he had the excuse to escape from everyone and go off to nowhere
