There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses.
Ever since the supposed death of Harry Potter, The Boy Who Lived and the fall of the Dark Lord, life seemed to take an unexpected turn. There were rumors of the survival of the Dark Lord. But the tomb his body was placed in is impenetrable, therefore rumors circulate as the days grow darker. One would think that the fall of the Dark Lord would bring peace and prosperity, security to a frightened Wizarding World. But they were wrong. The days match the mood, gloomy and dark as a presence seems to overwhelm every bit of society, brining a foreshadowing of dark things to come.
It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses
The Order of the Phoenix, once lead by Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter, is now under the command of his eldest son. At only twenty-five most think he is too young, and others think they can do it better. But not even he, the son of the Boy Who Lived, can figure out the darkness that is seeping over control. Unexplained Wizard deaths litter their world like a Plague. There is not real obvious connection between the deceased, at least none that they have figured out. For now the Order remains on constant watch as the original members begin to settle down with the few that remain. Like veterans they hand off the job to their children, all grown up and living lives of their own.

But to add to the deaths that occur all too often, disappearances are beginning to occur as well. Generally they show up again, mistaken because of mild paranoia in these times. But it is not uncommon to find a missing Wizard or Witch deceased, just another name to add to the already long list. For now the Order suspects a revived Death Eater force, but they have no proof. The Dark Mark hasn't been seen in years, and it is rarely stamped on the forearm of anybody. Among those that have mysteriously disappeared are Adonis Malfoy, Fabian Weasley, Anastasia Lestrange and Dimitri Lupin. Malfoy is the least of the Order's worries, but as the children of veterans become more worried, as they live their own lives as normally as possible, even with their childhood friends missing for an indefinite period of time. They count down the days, for it has been nearly eighteen months, a year and a half since they left behind loved ones and a past.
And a few more of your least favorite things.
The Death Eaters are operating in secret, recruiting whomever they can, even Half-Bloods at this point. The Dark Mark is still used to brand the forearm of a member, only this time on the opposite arm. Even among themselves they do not know if the Dark Lord is actually dead. For now Rodulphus Lestrange assumes command with followers that have been there as long as the Order veterans. These of course include Malfoy, Nott, Crabbe, and Goyle. But with more members, even among the offspring of Order members. Those specifically operate in secret, for the Death Eaters have begun something new. Called the Reapers, they operate in the shadows, almost like scouts or rangers. They disappear for training under the treacherous eye of Fenrir Greyback and unknowingly to the Wizarding world, the cause of all the silent chaos.

But as the Death Eaters have the Reapers, the Order has a similar group, called the Marauders, only they are more of a pacifist group, viewed as weak by the darker side. Most of the events occurring recently are viewed as coincidental, sightings of the two missing, Lupin and Weasley, though they plan to reappear shortly, very soon in fact in a very different way from going through the front door. As people begin to take sides at the rising war that has been brewing for the better part of a decade, which side will you chose?

But where there is war there is also love and little obstacles of the like. The Weasley children for example, abundant in number have for the most part settled down, with childhood friends, or bringing in a new face. This often enough brings in faces that you least expected to the light side and new faces to the dark side. Though they rally behind their cousin and the Order, there are a select few who think otherwise. Again, will you be caught in the middle? Or live in the shadows against those who stand in the light. There are many things happening of the sort, at times you don't have a choice. Just sit back and hold on tight for bad things to happen and A Few More of Your Least Favorite Things.
